How to Print a Weekly Calendar from Google, Outlook, or Apple Calendar

Use your calendar's own print view to put scheduled events on paper; you usually do not need to export or move them. For a blank page with room for handwritten priorities, use a planner instead. The steps below cover Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar on Mac.

The week and details that will go on paper

Navigate to the week and show only the calendars you want on the page. Remove canceled appointments and duplicates, and confirm the display time zone. Use the print preview to see which details will appear.

Think about where the paper will go. An event description or location that is acceptable in your private account may be inappropriate on a shared wall. Hide unnecessary calendars or choose a less detailed output. A PDF also deserves the same review before you send it to someone.

If events appear twice, solve that first using the guide to duplicate calendar events. A printout will not follow later calendar changes, so fix duplicates before you print.

Print from Google Calendar

On a computer, open Google Calendar and choose the week view. Use the settings menu's Print option to open its dedicated preview. Adjust the date range, orientation and text size until the week is readable, then continue to the browser or system print dialog.

Choose a PDF destination to save a file before printing. A schedule-style output can give long event titles more space than the weekly grid. Open the PDF and check its calendars and details before sharing it. See Google's printing options for the available layouts.

Print from Outlook

Outlook's controls depend on the version. In new Outlook, open Calendar and use Print on the Home tab, then choose the calendar, view and date range in the preview. Classic Outlook uses File, Print and print-style settings. Outlook on the web has its own print workflow.

Use the tab for your version in Outlook's print instructions. Choose a work-week layout for weekdays or a full week if weekend commitments belong on the page. For PDF output, inspect the saved file too.

Print from Apple Calendar on Mac

Open Calendar on your Mac, choose File, then Print. Select the weekly layout, the date range and the calendars to include. Review the detail and text options before continuing to the system print dialog. Apple's calendar printing guide also describes agenda-style and selected-event outputs.

Apple Calendar can show Google, Microsoft, and iCloud accounts together. Choose which calendars to print; the events visible in the app are not all necessarily stored in iCloud. See Apple Calendar versus iCloud if you need to identify their source.

More room for handwriting

A native print is often best for an accurate snapshot of appointments already in that provider. A separate planner is useful when you want writing space, selected weekdays, a particular page size or a layout organized around priorities rather than a dense event grid.

Avum's planner provides customizable workweek, weekly and monthly layouts with page, typography and content controls. You can make a blank or manually prepared planning page without turning it into a new calendar account. Paper sizes such as A4 and Letter are for PDF export and printing. The image formats are useful for screens and sharing.

For a walkthrough focused on the layout, read making a printable planner for your working hours. If you have an active subscription or trial and want to fill the planner with connected-calendar events, verify the selected calendars and generated page; a printed page remains a snapshot after export.

Paper size, scaling, and last-minute changes

Confirm the first and last dates, weekday labels, time zone, text size and privacy. Print a single page to check margins and scaling. Add a small “printed on” note if the week changes frequently, and keep the digital source as the place where appointments are updated.

For broader calendar coordination, Avum Calendar can help you review connected sources before deciding what belongs on paper.
