Avum vs CalendarBridge: Pricing, Features and Which Calendar Sync Tool to Choose
CalendarBridge counts every direction you sync. A two-way pair between two calendars uses two connections, three calendars that all block each other use six, and four use twelve. Avum counts connected accounts and rules instead, and a single Avum rule can copy one calendar into several others. For anything beyond a simple pair, that usually makes Avum the cheaper way to keep the same calendars aligned.

Pricing: connections add up quickly
CalendarBridge's billing documentation explains its unit clearly. One source sending events to one destination is one connection. Sending the other calendar's events back is a second. A full network where every calendar blocks every other one needs n × (n − 1) connections, so the count climbs much faster than the number of calendars.
An Avum Sync Rule can take several source calendars and several destinations. Three calendars that all block each other need three rules at most, one from each calendar to the other two.
| Avum | CalendarBridge | |
|---|---|---|
| Personal Google ↔ work Outlook | $5 (Base) | $5 (Basic) |
| Three accounts, all blocking each other | $7 (Plus) | $10 (Premium, 6 connections) |
| Four client accounts, eight calendars kept in sync | $7 (Plus) | $40 (Pro) |
| Ten accounts, more than eight calendars | $10 (Premium) | Beyond the largest individual plan |
Monthly prices for one user. On yearly billing, CalendarBridge's plans work out at $4, $8 and $32 a month and Avum's at $4.17, $5.83 and $8.33. CalendarBridge is slightly cheaper for a single yearly pair; Avum is cheaper from the second row onward.
For a single two-way pair the products cost the same. The difference appears when you add a third calendar, and it becomes large for consultants and fractional executives who keep calendars in several client organizations.
The details that decide whether sync can be trusted
Different destinations, different details
A consultant might want Client B's calendar to show time taken by Client A without revealing the client name, while their own personal calendar shows everything. Both products let you choose which details travel. In Avum the choice is part of each rule, so one source can send a neutral “Busy” block to a client and a full copy to your own calendar.
Check every field of the copy, including the description, location and meeting link. Keeping client names out of another client's calendar gives a field-by-field review.
Filters beyond colors
CalendarBridge excludes events by color or category. Avum filters by color too, and adds filters for availability or attendance status, date range, weekdays and specific hours. You can, for example, copy only accepted meetings, or only commitments between 08:00 and 18:00 on weekdays, into a client's calendar. On Plus and Premium, ordered conditional blocks and formula- or JavaScript-based transforms handle the cases simple filters cannot.
Calendar sources
Both products now connect Google, Microsoft, iCloud, CalDAV servers and read-only ICS feeds. Neither can write back into a published ICS feed. For a CalDAV destination, Avum checks that the server accepts writes and that your account has permission before it starts copying.
Where CalendarBridge is the stronger choice
CalendarBridge bundles more scheduling tools. Every plan includes up to ten scheduling pages and an email-based AI scheduling assistant, and you can take payments for bookings through Stripe. Healthcare professionals can request a HIPAA business associate agreement on Premium and Pro, and group pricing is available for teams. If you would pay separately for those tools, include them in the comparison.
Avum does not offer booking pages or a scheduling assistant. It focuses on keeping the calendars you already use correct.

Switching from CalendarBridge to Avum
Keep only one service writing to each destination. Pause the CalendarBridge connection and remove its synced events before enabling the matching Avum rule. Switching sync tools without duplicates explains the safest order.
Start with your most important direction, often personal to work, and use the sync test checklist on a new event, a reschedule, a recurring exception and a cancellation.
