Avum vs Morgen: Calendar Sync or a Daily Planning App?

Morgen is a daily planning app that brings tasks and calendars into one workspace, and it can also copy events between calendars. Avum focuses on that copying: it keeps your existing calendars aligned with private busy blocks, filters and per-destination settings, and costs at most a third of Morgen's monthly price.

A planner versus a sync layer

Morgen asks you to move your planning into its app. You collect tasks there, drag them onto your calendar and work from its view each morning. If that is the change you want, Morgen is a strong product and its calendar propagation is a useful extra.

Avum asks you to change nothing about how you plan. You keep your current calendar apps and task tools. Avum works in the background, copying commitments between accounts so the work calendar your coworkers check, the personal calendar your family checks and any client calendar all agree.

Why Avum is the better pick for sync

It costs much less

Morgen costs $30 a month, or $15 a month billed yearly. Avum costs $5, $7 or $10 a month, or $50 to $100 a year. If you do not plan to use Morgen's task workspace every day, you are paying for features you will not open.

Filters decide what is copied

Each Avum Sync Rule can filter events by attendance, availability, color, weekdays, hours and date range before anything reaches the destination. A client calendar can receive only weekday daytime commitments as neutral busy blocks, while your own calendar gets full details from the same source. On Plus and Premium, conditional blocks and formula- or JavaScript-based transforms handle more specific cases.

No plan limit on calendars inside an account

Avum's plans count connected accounts (2, 4 or 10) and rules. Every calendar inside those accounts is available, with no plan limit on how many.

Where Morgen is the stronger choice

Morgen is a full planning environment. It combines tasks from several sources with your calendars, supports time blocking and gives you one place to run your day. Avum has no task list and does not plan your work. If you want that workspace, Morgen covers both jobs in one subscription.
